Your lecturer for this session is Reuben Oh, our co-founder. Over the last 5-6 years he has been to nearly all of Japan as a Young Sake Ambassador, initially invited to Japan during Covid by the Japanese embassy to Singapore. He visited multitudes of breweries through his journey there, before deciding that the biggest respect he could do for the people and culture of sake brewing was to foolhardily attempt it in his own tropical island home.

LOVED IT! Reuben is very passionate about sake and we learnt a lot from him. He shared his presentation with us after the class and also sent us the additional info that he covered as we went along.
Being new to drinking sake (switching from wine), this class is helpful as we learnt the process of making sake and the different types that are available. Reuben was super easy-going and we felt comfortable to ask all the beginner questions we had. I'm more confident in getting sakes now and I know what to look out for.
