Our newest addition to the Utama family, now open for preorder — a Junmai Daiginjo brewed from the elusive Omachi sake rice, milled to 42%. Ships September; 5% of preorder proceeds go to Save Our Street Dogs.
The Utama Signatures
Utama is our flagship — the sakes that still fit within the legal conditions of brewing in Japan. Premium sake made from 50% Japanese rice, then tweaked in the recipe to create something truly unique, new, and perhaps closer to what we can define as Singaporean.
Charms & Craft
With trends in Japan revolving around sake mixes, we figured we could do it ourselves and involve the whole myriad of cultural ingredients available to Singapore, and by proxy, this whole region.
