Sake Making Workshop (Held Monthly) — Sake Camp
Make your very own sake to bring home and ferment yourself.
Built for beginners and hobbyists, our Sake Making Workshops are part of our Sake Diver course: a glimpse into the practical side of it, but without the post-processing module and cultural/tasting sessions included in the full course. [More details on Sake Diver here]
Please note that the Sake Making Workshop held on 21 March 2026 will be at 17Q Nallur Road Singapore 456633. All Sake Making Workshops from April 2026 onwards will be held at our facilities in Jurong, with the full address provided upon registration.
All brought to you by the founders of Orchid Sake Brewery, with a combined sake brewing and knowledge experience spanning a decade.
Programme outline:
- Start your own sake mash (moromi) in one afternoon with us, and get full instructions on how to bring it to completion. Each person will be making a bit above a litre of unpressed sake (approximately 700ml clear sake when pressed)
- A full lecture on sake brewing from the brewer's perspective + sake tastings of 3 different sakes from the Orchid Sake Brewery Line-up (total of 280ml)
- Advice on pressing, craft mixing (fruits etc.), and required equipment for further processing.
- All ingredients used in the workshop including koji, sake rice, and yeast are exclusive to our brewery, and can’t be acquired anywhere else.
Registration closes 2 days before the workshop date.
